Tosca, a global leader in reusable packaging and pooling solutions, has announced the arrival of a new Global CFO, Matt Harrison. The arrival of Matt Harrison begins a transition period that follows the departure of Global CFO Scott Smith, who will retire upon departure from Tosca.

Matt will lead all facets of finance for the organization globally. Matt was most recently CFO for Fortna Inc., a global leader in designing, developing, and delivering transformative omnichannel and parcel distribution solutions across North America, Europe, and South Africa. He has broad international experience, including leading finance, accounting, and legal teams in Atlanta, Mexico City, Hamburg, Johannesburg, and Hanoi. Matt began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving into investment banking, where he gained a wealth of experience in M&A and equity and debt financings. As CFO of the publicly traded Hiland Partners and Summit Midstream Partners, Matt led all facets of finance and accounting.
Eric Frank, President and CEO of Tosca, is delighted to welcome Matt to the team. “Scott Smith has been a crucial part of the Tosca team for the last 9 years, guiding it through the acquisition by Apax Partners and the subsequent Polymer Logistics and Contraload acquisitions. With Scott’s desire to retire, we have been searching for the right CFO and are thrilled to welcome Matt and his experience to the team.”
“It is a honor to join an organization with such a strong approach to sustainability and partnership.” said Harrison. “It is clear that Tosca not only has the vision to make a major impact in the supply chain world, but it has a passionate team of experts ready to take the company and its customers to the next level.”
Harrison holds an MBA from Northwestern University, J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a BS in Accounting from the University of Tennessee. He lives in the Atlanta area with his wife and three sons.
