ATLANTA, GEORGIA, USA– SEPTEMBER 9, 2020 – Tosca, an innovator in reusable packaging and supply chain solutions, announced that Jesse Sels, founder of Contraload, a European pooling company recently acquired by Tosca, will be taking on the new role as EMEA President.
Jesse will lead the company’s growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Since co-founding Contraload in 2004, Jesse has built an internationally respected business that has continuously grown every year. His tremendous success will be leveraged in developing reusable packaging solutions for upstream and downstream supply chains in Europe and the rest of the world.
“I am excited to take on this role as I join Tosca,” said Jesse Sels. “As the world focuses more on reusable packaging and the recycling of raw materials, pooling companies like Tosca and Contraload are key to facilitating and optimizing reusable packaging. My goal is to reinvent supply chains, using professional pooling as the leading game changer for greener, more efficient and respectful international logistics.”
Tosca president and CEO Eric Frank is excited about the ways Jesse can impact the business. “Jesse has built a successful business from the ground up and I am excited to see what he can do as he moves into a broader space in the pooling market,” he said. “As a pooling expert unlike any other, Jesse will play a key part in the reusable revolution we are establishing all over the world.”
Jesse has been in the pooling business for over 20 years, beginning his career at CHEP, a global company that offers pallet and container pooling. He co-founded Contraload in 2004, building the business until it became what it is today, the European market leader in pooled plastic pallets in the B2B environment.
