Technology Container Corporation (TCC), the world’s largest corrugated plastic box manufacturer, has joined the Reusable Packaging Association to help increase its market exposure.
TCC processes corrugated plastic boxes from sheet to finished product in one, high speed manufacturing operation. This allows the company to service very large distribution systems with time-sensitive delivery schedules. Due to its one-step manufacturing process, TCC can drive down the cost of its reusable plastic boxes to more affordable levels making it easier for customers to adopt cost-effective, sustainable distribution strategies.
“We joined the RPA because we recognize that companies unfamiliar with TCC may use the Association as a resource for seeking out qualified reusable packaging companies such as TCC,” said Fred Dowd, President, TCC. “We want to expand our market exposure and the RPA will help us reach potential new customers.”
TCC also joined the RPA so that it can exhibit in the Association’s Reusable Packaging Pavilion at PACK EXPO in Chicago Oct. 28-31. The annual Pavilion draws considerable traffic each year at PACK EXPO, providing attendees with a single location to learn more about reusable packaging and how it might fit into their sustainability business plans.
The Reusable Packaging Association is a collaborative effort between manufacturers, poolers, distributors, retailers and educators to promote the environmental, safety, and economic benefits of reusable packaging. The RPA serves as the collective voice of the industry and uses its knowledge of the members’ products and services to advance the adoption of reusable packaging and systems throughout the supply chain. The RPA is focused on promoting the expansion of reusables as the preferred packaging solution across supply chains in all industries.
