Leading industrial supplies organisation, Scott Group, is delighted to appoint Jim Bishop as Non-Executive Chairman as part of ambitious plans for expansion in 2015. The Scott Group has grown exponentially over the past 25 years through various strategic acquisitions and organic growth across the UK and Europe to become the UK’s largest pallet supplier and a leading supplier of essential trade supplies such as tools, work wear and corporate clothing. The group report a highly successful 2014, including the development of a five year partnership agreement with Britain’s largest sawmilling business BSW, a multi-million pound joint investment with Forth Ports Ltd to regenerate the Port of Burntisland as a state-of-the-art pallet manufacturing facility, and continuous investment in growth of Scott Group in the UK and overseas.
