- Innovative polypropylene (PP) corrugated box designs require no welds, glues, tape, or accessories

The range of reusable packaging solutions in the marketplace continues to grow. One recent entrant is ReusePac. According to owner and product designer Bill Xia, its innovative corrugated plastic boxes feature unique interlock designs that fill a “vast consumer and retail market gap “for low-priced, reusable, collapsible, and lightweight boxes. Manufactured from a single die-cut process, ReusePac boxes require no welds, glues, or accessories. They are easy to assemble, and lie flat or collapse folded to optimize transportation and storage.
Bill Xia is a professional engineer by training and enjoyed a successful career in the environmental management industry. Looking at the inefficiency of corrugated cardboard box usage as an outsider, he felt he could bring some disruptive ideas into his product line. He said that after several years of product development, he has created structural and interlock mechanisms that are effective in eliminating the ultrasonic weld, glues, buckles, and other accessories that are otherwise needed to hold a corrugated plastic box together.
The range of potential applications for the durable and strong ReusePac range is broad, Bill says, including fashion, supply chain, consumer products, e-commerce, groceries, manufacturing, healthcare, and much more. One additional attraction is that no work is required by material handlers to close the box bottom. Thanks to ReusePac design, he also feels his product line can provide a better solution for taller containers. He has also developed a bulk container that he has not yet commercialized.
“ReusePac is 100% recyclable at the end of its reuse life and is a zero-waste alternative to cardboard boxes,” Bill Xia adds.
The company states that it can supply samples quickly, and is capable of handling large orders in a timely fashion.
