 Menasha Corporation Names Two New Members to the Board

Menasha Corporation, parent company of ORBIS Corporation, has announced the appointment of two new independent directors to its board.

The new board members are Derrick Samuel, former President Greater Asia, Colgate-Palmolive Company, and David White, former Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain, Campbell Soup Company.

Mr. Samuel spent nearly 30 years with Colgate-Palmolive, managing Colgate’s operations in Australia, New Zealand, India and Zambia. His roles included President of Colgate-Palmolive’s Greater Asia business and President of Global R&D and Global Supply Chain. He is a graduate of the University of Calicut in Kerala, India with a degree in electrical engineering. He obtained an MSc in economics management from the University of Stirling, Scotland.

Mr. White is an Independent Director of Andersen Corporation of Bayport, Minn., and Sun Products Corporation of Wilton, Conn. He spent 25 years at Procter & Gamble, rising to Vice President, Product Supply prior to assuming the position of Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain of Campbell Soup Company. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and an M.S. in manufacturing engineering.

Bank Supports Expansion of Reusable Packaging Manufacturer MJ Systems

MJ Systems has secured a larger location in Telford after receipt of a £430,000 loan loan from Lloyds Bank. Established in 2000, the company designs and produces reusable transit packaging. It was established in 2000. It exports reusable packaging to 15 European countries.

MJ Systems is moving to a 26,000 sq ft facility in Stafford Park, moving from its former 14,000 sq ft bridgenorth site.  In addition to providing a larger shop floor, the new site will provide space for a showroom.

“This is part of a continuous expansion programme with improvements to our Indian factories recently completed,” stated Vicki Derry, director of MJ Systems. “Our move to Telford leaves us well-placed to reach our long-term growth ambitions, enabling us to provide a boost to local employment by creating jobs in-line with our increased production capacity.”

PPS Celebrates Tom Lee as New National Sales Manager
