PACK EXPO Generated Traffic and Quality Leads (Continued from Page 1)
RM2 Offers Extreme Durability and Per-Trip Approach
RM2 came to the show with its exceptionally strong pultruded composite pallet, which according to the company, can be offered at competitive pricing through its per-trip pricing model. There will be more on RM2 to follow, but below is an image of the RM2 pallet deck. The shiny top deck boards, which I attempt to capture in the photo, are coated with an anti-slip surface which the company reports as being extremely effective.
Reusable Packaging Pavilion Offers Valuable Expertise in Presentations
As is typical, there was plenty of great advice offered by presenters. My big problem is getting around to writing about all of them. Be sure to check out the reusable packaging story of Subaru of Indiana, and how it shaved 30 percent from its budget while increasing reusable usage from 89 to 95 percent. SIA was one of three Excellence in Reusable Packaging award winners for 2015. One of the many useful presentations was provided by Josh Kling of IFCO Systems, shown below, discussing how packaging standardization and reusables enhance warehouse automation.

Still in progress…more to come!
