OCONOMOWOC, Wis. — May 16, 2023 — ORBIS® Corporation, an international leader in reusable packaging, has introduced its latest addition to its BulkPak® range of reusable bulk containers: the BulkPak 48×45 HDMP Extended Height container system. The heavy-duty 48×45 HDMP Extended Height series fits 28 positions in a standard 53’ truck, enabling a gain of up to 20% in shipping efficiency and warehouse utilization.
The HDMP high-rise containers provide flexible collapse functionality and a variety of identification solutions to accommodate your diverse operational requirements. Constructed in alignment with the standard footprint of the Automotive Industry Action Group, these containers are engineered to effectively transport, warehouse, and dispatch components of automotive, appliance, and transportation equipment. They enable unitized loads to be transported straight to the production line for instant part deployment, eliminating the need for any unwrapping or unbanding.
“We are excited to launch our new addition to the BulkPak series and offer our customers an efficient and durable solution,” said Scott Krebs, senior product manager at ORBIS Corporation. “Our goal is to help our customers reduce costs and improve their bottom line while also providing them with a reliable and sustainable packaging solution.”
The 48×45 HDMP Extended Height container comes in three dimensions – 39”, 42”, and 50”. The 39” variant stands out as the sole 28-position bulk bin available in the market. Furthermore, these containers are compatible with all other 48×45 bulk bins and proudly feature the biggest 28-position extended height access door available in the market.
The HDMP series features a single-piece base design that ensures excellent durability, supporting a load capacity of up to 1,800 pounds. This series also excels in corner interlock performance and includes a retention clip for effortless panel detachment. Made from high-density polyethylene, the HDMP is engineered for robustness and extended lifespan. For maximum component protection, custom ORBIShield® dunnage can be availed for all ORBIS BulkPak containers.
