The reusable packaging company brought together employees, community leaders and nonprofit partners for its annual event highlighting charitable giving and volunteerism in southeast Wisconsin.
ORBIS Corporation recently recognized more than 40 nonprofit and community organizations at its 2026 Community Giving Reception in southeast Wisconsin.
The annual event brings together ORBIS employees, community leaders and nonprofit partners supported by ORBIS and parent company Menasha Corporation. The organizations span health care, education, food security, environmental stewardship, emergency services, animal welfare and other community programs.
This year’s guest speaker was Vicki Hediger of the Huntington’s Disease Society, who discussed the role donations play in supporting research and clinical trials, community education and services for individuals and families affected by Huntington’s disease.
“We are honored to continue a tradition of service that spans more than 175 years,” ORBIS President Norm Kukuk said. “From supporting health, education and food security to advancing inclusion, environmental stewardship, animal welfare and the arts, these organizations help our communities thrive.”
Organizations recognized during the reception included the Alzheimer’s Association, Blessings in a Backpack, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Lake Mills Food Pantry, Humane Society of Jefferson County, NAMI Southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha Green Team and several local police, fire and community organizations.
The reception is part of a broader community involvement program at ORBIS, which combines corporate giving with employee volunteerism and partnerships in communities where the company operates.
ORBIS, headquartered in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, manufactures reusable plastic pallets, totes, bulk containers and other reusable packaging products for supply chains including automotive, food and beverage, retail and industrial applications.
