Dirk and Fred Vrugteveen of Niagara Pallet & Recyclers Ltd. were recently warded the 2011 Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year Environmental Enterprise Award, which was presented by Photech Environmental Solutions, Inc. The award acknowledges individuals with products, services and manufacturing systems that have positive impacts on the environment.
The Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year Awards were established in 1993, with the goal of honouring “outstanding innovators and achievers who have made their mark and continue to excel in their chosen field.”
Dirk and Fred Vrugteveen are honored to be recognized in this capacity. Their company, Niagara Pallet & Recyclers Ltd. is a leading Niagara-based supplier of new and used pallets. They supply over 500,000 pallets to industrial, food, beverage, environmental and consumer goods markets annually. They offer a one-stop recycling solution for pallets, paper and plastic. They also offer new and used wood and plastic pallets, CPC pallets, EUR pallets, GMA pallets and heat treated pallets.
