Millwood, Inc. (www.millwoodinc.com), an industry leading solution provider of unit load and packaging materials and services, has launched a newly-designed website.
The redesign focused on creating a site that is cleaner, more informative, simple to navigate and easier to use. The new site brings together content and contact information from Millwood’s key areas of expertise across six solution sets: pallets, packaging materials, machinery systems, logistics, lumber and sustainability.
The solution sets include Millwood products and services, as well as products and services from Liberty Technologies, Liberty Parts Direct, Millwood Logistics Services and Milltree Lumber Holdings.
“Despite the difficult economic challenges of the past few years, we have continued to grow our revenues, customer base, products and services,” said Ron Ringness, executive vice president of sales, marketing and technology. “It was time to redesign our website to better reflect who Millwood is today and all the ways we can bring value to our customers.”
Two new areas introduced on the website are sustainability and Millwood’s new strategic alliance program, Millwood Connect™. “We know that sustainability is increasingly important to our customers,” Ringness said. “Wood is a renewable resource. In addition, we use computer software to design unit loads with the optimal amount of transport packaging at the lowest total unit load cost.” Millwood also offers a number of recycling programs that minimize the amount of waste going from it’s customers’ facilities to the landfill. “Simply stated, we put the waste to good use via biofuels, agricultural needs and composite materials,” Ringness said.
Working with strategic partners in its Alliance Program, Millwood can provide national accounts with a single source solution for all of a customer’s packaging and materials handling needs.
The new site went live on June 24, 2011. “We invite both our current customers and potential new customers to visit us online and learn more about Millwood and how we can serve them across their materials handling and transport packaging needs on a local or national account basis,” Ringness added.
