LOSCAM, an industry leader in pallet and container pooling solutions, recently announced it had become an associate member of the Australian Logistics Council, the nation’s peak representative body for the Australian freight transport and logistics supply chain sector.
Michael Kilgariff, Managing Director of the Australian Logistics Council said, “The Australian Logistics Council continues to maintain constructive dialogue with all freight transport and logistics organisations, and we welcome LOSCAM as a key integrator between trading partners”. “We look forward to LOSCAM’s contribution to continue to improve supply-chain efficiency in Australia.”
Like the ALC, LOSCAM supports effective leadership within the supply chain sector in Australia, and believe national cohesive policy positions, as advocated by the ALC, will lead to sustainable, positive outcomes for the industry.
“We welcome ALC’s commitment to promoting collaboration and improving transparency within the supply chain sector”, said Daniel Bunnett, LOSCAM’s Regional Director. ”In particular we are very supportive of any initiatives that help to drive standardisation within the sphere of pallet and related process management, and by joining we will be able to assist in improving standards for the logistics industry“, said Daniel.
LOSCAM, since 1942, has become one of the world’s largest returnable packaging solutions providers, providing services from over 60 locations in 10 countries throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Australian Logistics Council is the peak national body representing the major and national companies in the Australian freight transport and logistics supply chain. The ALC’s aims to influence national transport and infrastructure regulation and policy to ensure Australia has safe, secure, reliable, sustainable and internationally competitive supply chains.
