FORT COLLINS, Colo., Aug. 2, 2023 – Liviri has recently strengthened its leadership team by welcoming two exceptionally accomplished executives. It is a move that Liviri says demonstrates its dedication to enhancing its already robust leadership and solidifying its standing as a premier cold chain and staging partner across various industries, with a particular focus on the continuously evolving grocery sector.
he cmpany has appointed Kenneth Longval as the new General Manager, bringing with him extensive expertise in the grocery industry, coupled with a remarkable track record of driving operational excellence and optimizing supply chain management. Having previously held managerial and interim director roles at Ahold Delhaize, Longval played a pivotal role in the development and expansion of the brand’s click-and-collect “Hannaford-To-Go” program, showcasing a strong commitment to innovation in the eGrocery sector – a crucial area of focus for reusable packaging provider.
During his tenure, Longval oversaw a team spanning five states, and his leadership was instrumental in achieving over 80% growth in sales for the Hannaford-To-Go program. His wealth of experience provides valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by both grocers and customers in terms of cold chain management and overall eGrocery experiences.
Alex Rand has joined the company as the Director of Channel Management – eGrocery, bringing with him extensive experience garnered over a decade at Ahold Delhaize. Notably, he held a leadership position at Peapod Digital Labs, the digital and commercial engine of AD, where he gained valuable expertise and an in-depth understanding of eGrocery and click-and-collect operations.
During his tenure as a business process engineer, Rand played a crucial role in streamlining workflows within the retail grocery environment, optimizing various aspects of the operation. Furthermore, he was instrumental in the design of the order management system, fulfillment equipment, and pick processes for the successful Hannaford-To-Go program.
As the channel development manager at Peapod Digital Labs, Rand collaborated with Liviri’s Sprint line of insulated totes, providing him with firsthand experience in utilizing Liviri’s solutions and an acute awareness of how the company’s products can address pain points for grocers. His addition to the Liviri team complements Kenneth Longval’s expertise, further strengthening the company’s position in the eGrocery sector.

“I am thrilled to be joining such a great team at Liviri,” said Longval. “Our primary focus is ensuring our partners and their customers are satisfied with quick and efficient pick-up processes as their items are kept at an optimal and safe temperature. Having a deep understanding of the industry and in using Liviri Sprint’s solutions on the customer side, Alex and I look forward to the future as we continue to innovate and support both our established partners, and soon-to-be partners.”
