KegCraft Now on Tap with Reusable Packaging Association

Reusable Packaging Association welcomes keg management and rental service provider to membership.

Membership movement continues to be downright effervescent for the Reusable Packaging Association (RPA), recently announcing a new member from the keg management sector.

Boasting an inventory of over 100,000 kegs, KegCraft is one of the largest independent keg owners in the US. It offers reliable keg management services, keg rentals, and keg leasing programs to a customer base currently including 100 brewers and over 240 distributors, according to the company website. Checking out the website is a worthwhile excercise to find out how a 3rd generation family enterprise moved from the party rental business to the keg rental business. (Maybe it isn’t that far of a stretch when you think about it.)

“We are a fairly unique company so we were pleased to hear about the RPA and the opportunity to network with other suppliers of reusables,” says Ben Shipper, President and CEO of KegCraft. “We hope to learn about different strategies that might apply to our growing business.”

“KegCraft is a welcome addition to the association,” said Jerry Welcome, RPA President. “Craft brewing is a growth industry and companies like KegCraft are opening up this market to reusable solutions. This is another great example of the continued diversity of our membership and the markets they serve; it is one of the strengths of the RPA.”
