For the transport of its building materials, insulation specialist ISOVER will be offering its customers a sustainable reusable pallet system with free collection from January 2021. The process, which is as simple as it is environmentally friendly, reduces waste on the construction site, simplifies handling and is also particularly economical. The collection is carried out by a specialized logistics company regardless of the condition of the pallets. These only have to be stacked ready for loading, pre-sorting is not necessary. The pick-up date and location can be arranged individually at any time and with little effort.
With the new reusable system from ISOVER, the costly and time-consuming disposal of pallets is a thing of the past. From now on, an e-mail or a quick phone call is sufficient and the reusable pallets marked with a symbol are regularly brought back to the delivery plant free of charge. Boomerang Retour GmbH takes care of the return transport, including load securing and logistics. For example, whether the pallets are damaged or soiled is irrelevant for retrieval. Before the wooden pallets are reused, they are carefully checked and, if necessary, refurbished.
More economical than one-way pallets
“With our new reusable system, we are closing another material cycle and once again conserving valuable resources,” explains Alexander Geißels, Head of Marketing Communication and Sustainability Officer at ISOVER. “In comparison to handling one-way pallets, the system is particularly practical and economical. All costs that were previously incurred for storing and disposing of the pallets are completely eliminated. ”
To participate in the ISOVER reusable pallet system, you only need to register once. The return modalities can then be agreed upon at any time online or via the logistics partner’s free hotline.
