GO2 Delivery carbon-neutral partnership delivers emissions reductions, real-time tracking, and up to 50% savings on cold chain packaging.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Invensify, a provider of real-time temperature monitoring systems for the healthcare sector, has partnered with GO2 Delivery to introduce a new reusable packaging solution for same-day pharmaceutical shipments. The joint initiative, which combines Invensify’s smart cold chain technology with GO2’s carbon-neutral courier network, is aimed at helping pharmacies and healthcare systems reduce single-use packaging, cut emissions, and comply with strict medication handling requirements.
The integrated solution uses Invensify’s temperature-controlled smart packaging to support the safe and compliant transport of temperature-sensitive medications while driving cost reductions through reusability. According to the companies, pharmacies deploying the system can reduce cold chain packaging expenses by as much as 50%.
“Our partnership with GO2 Delivery reflected a shared commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility,” said Faizan Ahmed, Founder and CEO of Invensify. “Together, we’re transforming how healthcare organizations handle and deliver medications by combining our temperature monitoring technology with GO2’s carbon-neutral last mile delivery network.” Ahmed noted that one specialty compounding pharmacy is expected to save $188,200 in 2025 by shifting to the Invensify system.
GO2 Delivery Has Already Achieved Full Carbon Neutrality
While many logistics providers are still exploring sustainable options, GO2 Delivery has already achieved full carbon neutrality through a combination of solar-powered facilities, electric and hybrid vehicles, and participation in verified global carbon offset programs. The company’s core business includes medical and B2B deliveries across Virginia and North Carolina, with a growing focus on cold chain pharmacy logistics.
“The demand for eco-conscious, compliant, and cost-effective last mile pharmaceutical delivery is rapidly growing,” said Eric Brown, CEO and Founder of GO2 Delivery. “Invensify’s smart packaging, combined with our pharmacy courier service, enabled us to meet this demand head-on. We were proud to help healthcare organizations streamline same-day delivery while protecting patient safety and the environment.”
A Reusable Packaging Approach to Cold Chain Compliance
Unlike conventional single-use thermal packaging, the solution introduced by Invensify and GO2 Delivery is designed to be reused, helping reduce packaging waste while maintaining strict temperature compliance. The system also includes real-time tracking of both temperature and shipment location, capabilities that are increasingly required in regulated pharmaceutical supply chains.
The companies stated that the reusable solution is intended for hospitals, pharmacies, and specialty healthcare providers that require secure, same-day delivery of medications within metropolitan areas. Additional benefits cited include improved product efficacy through stable temperature control and operational efficiency from simplified packaging processes.
The service is currently launching in select cities, with national rollout expected in late 2025.
