Industrial Pack 2019 – Cobb Galleria Centre, Atlanta GA – March 27-28, 2019

Registration opened on November 8, 2018, for Industrial Pack. The 2nd annual event will build on its highly successful 2018 launch with increased manufacturers, networking and educational opportunities specifically designed for the industrial packaging and procurement professional.

This free-to-attend, two-day conference and expo will tackle some of the biggest industry challenges and explore exciting opportunities in smart packaging, sustainability, alternative materials, innovation, security, legislation and the future of packaging in industry.

This niche event was created in response to industrial packaging engineers, technicians and purchasers wanting an exhibition dedicated purely to industrial, transit and protective packaging without processing or machinery.

Industrial Pack recently spoke to one of the exhibitors, Elemental Container Inc., a fully owned subsidiary of Tournaire SA of France, about the need for this event:

“There is simply no packaging show specialized in industrial packaging. We are either buried in the middle of consumer products or machinery. We hope to have a well-targeted audience.” – Benoit Ramet, Sales Manager for Elemental Container Inc.

The industrial packaging industry is forecasted to grow by 19% reaching $78.3 billion in 2020*(*Based on research conducted by Smithers Pira)

Industrial Pack brings together the top suppliers in the category, who will be showcasing packaging solutions to transport every type of product – from hazardous materials and dangerous goods to automotive parts, building materials, industrial machinery, bulk food and drink and much more. Packaging formats at the show will include drums and pails, IBCs, pallets, dunnage air bags, corrugated board packaging, and much more to help buyers and specifiers solve their transit and protective packaging challenges.

The free-to-attend, two-day event, will feature the industry’s most unique trade show experience dedicated to the industrial, in-transit, and protective packaging industry. The focus on next year’s event is providing both visitors and exhibitors with a unique high-value experience.

Networking Focus

Whether visitors are coming to learn, source or procure, there will be lots of opportunities for networking. The trade show will be the central hub for meetings over coffee or lunch, plus drinks will be served every afternoon at Happy Hour.

Also planned are casual networking activities that include tours of Atlanta and a Braves baseball game, where visitors have time to forge new professional relationships with colleagues that have shared concerns and challenges.

One of the event’s most anticipated activities is the second annual IP Awards. This is an evening that provides the perfect environment to celebrate excellence, network and have some well-deserved fun.

A Visitor from 2018 says…

“Industrial Pack was a very useful expo. As a buyer, there were plenty of networking opportunities and new products. I will be back next year and look forward to it”

Jeff Baker, Business Development, AMEC

Pack Testing LIVE in the Exhibit Hall

This live demo area will be testing a range of industrial, transit and protective packaging to challenge the strength and robustness through stimulation and non-stimulation performance tests. “There really hasn’t been a show like this that focuses on the rigid side, so we were particularly interested in seeing this. We have some 40+ plants across 12 business units and I’ve found a lot of suppliers here and found a lot of benefit – I’m coming back tomorrow to see a couple of the talks and am pretty sure I’ll be back next year too!”
