Industrial Pack wrapped up another successful event at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta GA. With visitor growth up, the expo served as a unique opportunity to network and learn from the top leaders in industrial packaging.
Leading up to the event, the industrial, transit and protective packaging market has seen growth and experienced significant changes in focus on sustainability, consolidation and shifting opportunities.
“This year’s success at Industrial Pack is attributed to the continued growth and opportunities in this dynamic market,” said Tim Rusbridge, Event Manager – Industrial Pack. “Our mission for Industrial Pack is to provide a platform for substantive discussions that spark real innovation and solutions for the industry’s future. Early feedback tells us that we provided the high-value to our visitors that we were striving for”.
To kick things off, keynote speaker, Kyle Stavig, Chairman of IPANA and CEO of Myers Container, provided an in-depth presentation on the State of the Industrial Packaging Industry.
Stavig shared key data on production growth in steel drums, rebounding growth in TH and OH plastic drums and significant growth in production of new IBCs. Stavig also provided a look ahead in the globalization of industrial packaging and predicts continued growth in North America, Japan and particularly strong growth in China and Europe.
The highlight of Industrial Pack was the IP Awards, where the industry celebrated innovation and excellence. Congratulations to this year’s winners:
