Horen Plastics has appointed David Edwards as President FMCG, effective immediately. As President, Edwards will have responsibility for developing Horen’s product and service offering within the FMCG and global retail markets. He will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jacky Liao.
Edwards, 49, is a 30-year veteran of supply chain and packaging solutions and has lived and worked throughout the Asia-Pacific region since founding TNT’s Logistics business in Bangkok in 1995. In his most recent role as Vice President Business Development for China Merchants Loscam, Edwards was instrumental in leading the business into new markets and overseeing the introduction of new products in the retail ready space.
“Over nearly three decades, David has built an impressive track record of strategic, operational and commercial accomplishments,” said Jacky Liao, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “He has proven to be a successful and trusted leader and brings to this position a strong reputation for building businesses and forging strong customer and supplier relationships. His wealth of experience across the global supply chain and packaging systems, particularly in Asia Pacific, will be a valuable asset as we continue to accelerate growth and expand into new markets and services”.
Travis Teague, Horen’s Director of Director International Business Development for Asia Pacific will continue to drive growth in Horen’s IBC and Bag in Box solutions and will work with Edwards to drive synergies across Horen’s FMCG, Retail and Industrial packaging products and solutions.
