A Michigan recycler has been raided by FBI and Perrysburg Township police after a tip from iGPS. Around 400 pallets at Pallet World, valued at approximately $70 each, were at issue with respect to whether or not they had been acquired legally. The probe is being looked at as a potential grand theft scheme.
According to a local paper, the probe began with a tip from the pallet manufacturer, intelligent Global Pooling Systems Inc. of Orlando, Fla., also known as iGPS. iGPS has been active in protecting its pallet property rights in the past, such as in Texas in 2009.
Pallet owners and stakeholders play an important role in pallet asset protection.
