“We welcome Euro Pool System CZ to Prologis Park Prague-Uzice, and are pleased they have entrusted us with their warehouse needs for the next 15 years,” says Marek Muller, Prologis director development & leasing for the Czech Republic. “This level of confidence is rewarding for the Uzice team and shows that our commitment to providing quality service is paying off.”
Now 94.1 percent leased, Prologis Park Prague-Uzice is a modern, efficient logistics park located north of Prague on the main highway to Germany. The park currently houses four buildings totaling over 97,000 m² with future expansion to seven buildings totaling nearly 170,000 m².
Billed as the first sustainable distribution center to be constructed in Central & Eastern Europe, it maintains air-tightness standards for lower energy costs, energy efficient lighting systems, and rainwater collection for soil irrigation and facade cleaning. Prologis is one of the leading operators of distribution facilities in the Czech Republic.
In February 2013, Prologis announced that it had entered into a renting arrangement with Euro Pool System for a 8,000 m² large premises in Prologis Park Lauenau near Hannover, Germany. Previously, Euro Pool System did not have a distribution facility in the middle and south of Lower Saxony. “The new depot is at a favorable situation in order to be able to serve our clients in the Hannover region and environs as best as possible,” Dr. Kurt Jäger, manager of Euro Pool System International (Germany) said at the time. “With those new premises we are in a position to meet the requirements of our clients even better. Especially when the fresh logistics short transport distances and quick action play a decisive role.”
