LONDON, June 21, 2023 – In a bid to further BrewDog’s objective of delivering their beers to the maximum number of consumers in the most eco-friendly manner, the internationally acclaimed brewer has opted for Kegstar (MicroStar’s global branch) to facilitate their worldwide steel keg supply chain programs. This extended, long-term contract enhances MicroStar’s alliance with BrewDog in the US, including exclusive steel keg supply and quality services for BrewDog-operated breweries in Scotland, Germany, and Australia.
“BrewDog is a true craft beer pioneer, and their relentlessly innovative approach has resulted in explosive growth,” affirmed Bryan Place, President of Kegstar. “Our proven keg supply chain programs are built for scale and growth… We’re excited to expand our operating partnership with BrewDog as we together tap into the benefits reusable PLUS shareable steel kegs deliver.”
“Being the leading pay-per-fill supplier with global reach spanning North America, UK, Western Europe, and Australia/New Zealand, Kegstar was the clear pick for us as we sought to widen our use of reusable steel kegs,” BrewDog’s Co-Founder and CEO, James Watt states. “This new global partnership also supports our mission to use the most efficient, circular supply chain options available… MicroStar’s extensive network of reusable, shareable kegs return our planet’s finite materials back to the supply chain more directly.”
Under this collaboration, MicroStar is set to provide expanded access to its increasing network of shareable, Kegstar-branded kegs, and the subsequent advantages, to breweries and beer distributors of varying sizes across Western Europe.
