She has also contributed to not-for-profit organizations such as New York-based Climate Neutral Standards and Action Against Hunger. Mrs. Sánchez holds a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Management from EOI Business School (Escuela de Organización Industrial) in Madrid, where she is currently a lecturer in climate risk and adaptation.
“The time has come for companies to make a real step change to mitigate climate change and build a collective response to one of the biggest challenges of our time: the decarbonization of the global economy”, said Juan José Freijo, Brambles Global Head of Sustainability. “Marisa brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that this represents for businesses like ours. I’m sure her passion and her alignment with our ambitious regenerative mission will help enhance the sustainable business model that will succeed in the future.”
