CHEP bundles responsibility for strategy, innovation and digitization in order to further increase customer value
Cologne, September 15, 2020 – CHEP Germany is expanding its top management: Anna Lynch takes over the newly created position of Director Business Transformation & Intelligence in the management. In this role, she will play a decisive role in exploiting all the opportunities offered by digitization and thereby generating added value for customers and for CHEP. Lynch and her team will expand existing business intelligence applications and develop and implement strategic initiatives in the areas of innovation culture, IoT (Internet of Things), product innovations and digital solutions.
Direction for the digital transformation
Industry associations such as Bitkom e.V. or the German Retail Association (HDE) agree: digitization will change the retail and logistics sector far-reaching in the coming years, and dynamism and complexity will continue to increase. CHEP’s digital strategy is focused on improving customer service on the one hand and increasing company efficiency on the other.
Lynch, who has been with CHEP Germany since April 2019, was already responsible for the analyst team in her previous position as Senior Manager Sales & Service Office. Before that, she worked for a number of international companies such as Deloitte Consulting, Mondelez, and DHL. Lynch has extensive experience in accompanying and leading strategic innovation programs in the logistics industry. In addition, she worked for many years in market, trade and consumer research as well as in strategy consulting and project and program management. Anna Lynch holds a Masters Degree in Marketing Management with a major in Consumer Behavior from the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
