48forty Solutions, a leading national provider of recycled pallets and pallet management services, has announced its acquisition of Taylor Pallets & Recycling, a pallet management company based in South Carolina. The specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 48forty is under the ownership of Audax Private Equity and Summit Partners.
Taylor Pallets & Recycling, founded in 1992 by Greg and Russ Taylor, has experienced consistent growth over the years. The company specializes in offering recycled, new, and customized pallets to customers in South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. With locations in Anderson, SC, Winder, GA, Orangeburg, SC, and Byron, GA, Taylor efficiently serves its customers. As the largest pallet recycler in South Carolina, the company employs over 180 individuals and operates its own private fleet.
