The UK’s largest manufacturer of plastic containers and reusable transit packaging (RTP), Schoeller Allibert, is offering more opportunities to save with the extension of its price-drop promotion on bulk pallet boxes. The company’s promotion, covering bulk containers from its Geobox and Big Box ranges, will run until the end of June 2015, enabling customers to build price savings into their summer production planning.
The bulk containers on offer are suitable for a wide range of food and non-food production applications, including vegetable harvesting, meat processing, engineering handling operations and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Ideal for hygiene-critical environments, the products’ key qualities include smooth surfaces and curved corners which are quick and easy to clean and protect contents from damage in transit.
Danilo Oliynik, UK Managing Director at Schoeller Allibert, said: “This promotion offers customers the opportunity to stock up and meet their handling requirements over the coming months, with some great savings on offer. The promotion offers a solution for any application in which containers need to stand up to intensive usage in environments where safe and hygienic transport of bulk quantities is essential.”
Made from tough, impact-resistant plastic, the containers will stack 10 high, carrying unit loads of up to 500kg. The offer applies to a versatile range of solid or ventilated containers, including a 3-runner Geobox that enables tipping. The ventilated containers are well suited to use in fridges or freezers, where the ventilation holes promote air flow which speeds chilling and helps maintain a consistent temperature.
In line with Schoeller Allibert’s product design philosophy, the containers are economical in their space usage when empty; the containers nest 3:2 saving both storage and return transport space.

Another New Distributor Delivers Enhanced Choice for Schoeller Allibert Customers
Schoeller Allibert, a world leader in plastic reusable transit packaging (RTP), has appointed a new Premier Distributors to simplify and streamline the distribution process for its customers.
Based in Northampton, Totebox Ltd is the brainchild of an ex-employee of Linpac Allibert, Rob Cousins. The business was originally built to stock the Allibert two tone green attached lid containers (ALCs) but a full range of Linpac Allibert origin products are now stocked ready for next day delivery. Totebox Ltd specialises in supporting the reseller and mail order networks with smaller quantities of product with no minimum order quantity. It will handle orders from food manufacturers and retailers worth £1,500 and below on a next-day delivery basis, while the network of Schoeller Allibert distribution depots will continue to fill larger and bespoke orders directly.
Schoeller Allibert’s Premier Distributors liaise closely with Garry Thorpe, National Distributor Sales Manager, who said: “Totebox is the ideal partner to fulfil urgent customer orders within the industrial market thanks to its experienced team which has extensive knowledge of our products and services. Stocking a wide range of Schoeller Allibert products, from our well-known attached lid distribution, euro stacking and 180 degree nesting containers to folding and solid Geobox bulk containers to wheeled dollies and a choice of pallets, Totebox is ideally placed to advise on RTP solutions for transporting and storing goods securely.”
“The role of our specialist Premier Distributors is key for Schoeller Allibert’s operations, providing a reliable source from which mail order customers, end user and reseller customers obtain their plastic containers.”
