Four New Members Join Reusable Packaging Association

The Reusable Packaging Association (RPA) has four new members. Smarte Automation, Green Line Armor, Sonoco and Coll Materials have joined the RPA to help promote the value of reusable packaging solutions in the marketplace and to leverage the collective expertise and resources of the association.

“Coll Materials believes in the purpose of the RPA,” said Renée Coll, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Coll Materials. “As a member of the RPA, we hope to gain exposure to more packaging users so that we can recycle packaging to keep more plastic out of landfills. We also hope to sell our recycled plastic to manufacturers to increase recycled content in packaging, keeping costs low and making products greener.”

“Green Line Armor is proud to be a part of RPA,” added Eric C. Renteria, President and CEO, Green Line Armor. “We believe the resources of the RPA will help strengthen our efforts to bring more cost-effective solutions to the marketplace through the advancement of technologies and alternative materials, improving the environmental profile of the logistics industry.”

The four new industries will add their expertise and experience in transport packaging, plastics recycling, equipment manufacturing and pallet manufacturing to the RPA’s broad membership. In turn, they will gain benefits of membership, including increased business opportunities and access to research, data, and other tools that will help them build the business and environmental case for their products and services.

“The RPA has been very successful in growing and broadening our membership this year,” said Chris MacGrory, Chairman of the RPA Membership Committee and Marketing Manager, Reusable Packaging Containers for IPL Products, Ltd. “Our growing membership demonstrates that the RPA is bringing real value to the industry and to individual member companies.”
