Finnish Online Shops to Ship in Reusables for Earth Day

What a great idea. A reusable pack for ecommerce home delivery!

What a great idea. A reusable pack for e-commerce home delivery!

A number of Finnish online shops have joined forces in removing packaging trash by going trash free on April 22 and celebrating #EarthDay , according to Jonne Hellgren of RePack. All orders made on Friday are shipped in reusable and returnable packaging. The consumer just flattens their RePack and drops it in the closest mailbox. Once RePack is returned customer is rewarded with a voucher for their next purchase and RePack is reused.

The dozen Finnish e-commerce sites ship viaRePack on Earth Day include Scandinavian Outdoor Store, Makia, By Pia’s, Arela, Ozbaby, Globe Hope, gTie, Pure Waste, Ecosto, Apteekkishop, Frenn and Varusteleka.
