Roundup: Axios Receives New Orders in US Midwest, Southeast

Axios Mobile Assets Corporation report having received orders to provide the Axios pallet and technology platform to two facilities operated by a new customer that ranks as one of the largest egg producers in the United States. Onboarding of the Axios Solution to the facilities, located in the US Midwest and Southeast, is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2016.

The new orders build upon an existing presence in these regions and will increase Axios’ pallet density in established delivery lanes. Once service begins, a total of seven major egg and egg product producers will be using Axios pallets and logistics. Most of the pallets in the Axios fleet are currently utilized by the egg industry, reflecting a sanitization and biosecurity profile that makes the platform particularly well-suited to transporting and tracking perishable foods.

“Axios is pleased to have received two significant orders from a new customer and our team is looking forward to beginning work with their facilities as soon as possible,” said Richard MacDonald, President and CEO of Axios Mobile Assets. “The orders reinforce our presence in the Midwest and Southeast markets and will enable us to further enhance the efficiency of our local operations.”
