Reusable Packaging Association Hosting Education Conference at MODEX — IBM, StopWaste Join Presenters

Arling­ton, Va, Jan­u­ary 24, 2012 — IBM and StopWaste.Org will share their expe­ri­ences with reusables as part of the Reusable Pack­ag­ing Asso­ci­a­tion edu­ca­tion con­fer­ence at MODEX on Feb. 6.

The Asso­ci­a­tion is host­ing a con­fer­ence titled, “Reusable Pack­ag­ing – Effi­cient, Cost Effec­tive and Sus­tain­able Solu­tions for Today’s Sup­ply Chains”. Newly-announced speak­ers for the con­fer­ence are Sharon T. Spauld­ing of IBM who will share the company’s expe­ri­ence in using reusable solu­tions to send main­frame com­put­ers to their cus­tomers; and Janet Smarte of StopWaste.Org who will speak on cor­po­rate respon­si­bil­ity and the need for busi­nesses to make the switch from expend­able to reusable pack­ag­ing. The speak­ers are part of the RPA’s three-hour pro­gram sched­uled for Mon­day, Feb­ru­ary 6, 2012 from 1 to 4 p.m. The pro­gram is designed to help those who are new to reusable pack­ag­ing as well as those who have already incor­po­rated reusable strate­gies to make more informed deci­sions about the broad range of trans­port pack­ag­ing solu­tions avail­able to help them improve their sup­ply chain operations.
