Principles of Packaging for Industry Newcomers Offered

This September 13-17, Michigan State University School of Packaging is offering Principles of Packaging for Industry Newcomers. This seminar is designed for those who do not have a degree in packaging but have a role in managing packaging and related operations within their organizations. This course will offer full insight in all aspects of packaging including function, materials, systems, distribution, among many other topics. You will leave this course better prepared to implement cost savings, and value added strategies to your company’s packaging and related operations and systems. Format will be content heavy and intense over a 5 day period and will include lectures, laboratory exercises, plant tours and an opportunity to meet in round table discussions with faculty whose expertise is in your area of work.

The last portion of the class will include break-out sessions for industry specific lectures. Industries addresses will be determined by the mix of registrants but may include: industrial, food, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, etc. The cost for the course is $3575.00. Discounts are available for multiple attendees from one organization.
