Position Summary
This position is responsible for control and reconciliation of CHEP inventories throughout the NA Supply Chain, USA and Canada for a total of 128 sites. Principal pallet inventory activities include: audit and process pallet invoices, prepare annual budget and manage monthly accruals, monitor the accuracy and timely reporting of pallet adjustments, coordinate self and chep audits assuring reconciliations between the WMS, SAP and CHEP, maintain monthly KPI reports, manage the relationship with pallet company(s), support and resolve business issues and participate on Pallet Unilever NA team which negotiates the contract. Manage relationship with 3pl DCs, and Co-packers and with Unilever Plants. Manage, resolve Quality pallet issues. Write Best Practice Reconciliation Procedures for pallet management, for the Sites as well as internal Pallet Team procedures.
Responsible for business process improvement and simplification.
The Pallet Specialist will be expected to support projects involving any pallet platform type and is the CHEP Portfolio super user and security manager.
