Goplasticpallets.com has become the first ever plastic pallet supplier to join the Food Storage & Distribution Federation (FSDF), according to an announcement from the company.
“Over the last few years we have made huge progress in educating logistics professionals about the positive effects using plastic pallets and boxes can have on the food supply chain, in particular improved hygiene and safer handling,” states Jim Hardisty, Managing Director of Goplasticpalles.com. “By joining the Food Storage & Distribution Federation, we’re hoping to spread this message further and educate even more food manufacturing and processing companies of the many benefits of switching to plastic!”
“The Food Storage & Distribution Federation is delighted to welcome Goplasticpallets.com as a new Associate Member,” adds Chris Sturman, Chief Executive of the FSDF. “Their portfolio broadens the range of goods and services that our Associate Members offer to operators within the temperature controlled food supply chain and strengthens our network of logistics industry contacts.”
So far this year, Goplasticpallets.com reports having introduced two new products to its rapidly expanding range of plastic pallets and boxes, which are particularly suited to the food sector: a new version of its Hygienic pallet, which has been optimised for superior performance in automated conveyor systems; and an improved version of its GoBox 1210 BBC bulk storage container in blue, which has been hygienically enhanced to help food processing companies meet the most stringent hygiene standards.
Goplasticpallets.com also offers an extensive range of food boxes manufactured from the highest quality food-grade material including bale arm crates, meat trays, hygienic containers and boxes that both stack and nest.
