Bob Moore, iGPS CEO, Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year

Bob Moore, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Intelligent Global Pooling Systems (iGPS Company, LLC), was named by Ernst & Young as Florida’s Entrepreneur of the Year in the Emerging industries category.

“I am grateful to receive this honor from Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year,” said Moore, who founded iGPS in 2006. “I also am grateful to the members of the North American supply chain who have embraced our technology and contributed to our success. Together, we are keeping the foods and products we ship and buy every day out of harm’s way. But without the commitment of each and every iGPS employee, we would not be able to deliver the safest and most environmentally responsible pallet to the market. To each of them, I once again express my appreciation.”

Moore was presented with the Ernst & Young Florida Entrepreneur of the Year award at a black-tie gala ceremony at the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate on June 10, 2010. As Entrepreneur of the Year, Moore will now compete in the Ernst & Young national competition in November in Palm Springs, California.

Based in Orlando, Florida, iGPS employs 150 people and operates throughout North America. In addition, iGPS indicated in its release that it has created nearly 2,000 new green jobs in North America as an outcome of the businesses that contribute to the development of the pallets and the tracing and tracking technologies used in them. iGPS (www.igps.net) is headquartered in Orlando, FL and has offices in Dallas, TX and Bentonville, AR.
